Y'all, let's talk about SPJ's Logo/Sign! It was in a sorry state, to say the least. This iconic piece from the 1950s had seen better days. It was covered in rust, looking dull and lifeless. But fear not, because a team of experts came to the rescue!
Who were the heroes behind the transformation?
A big shoutout to Kevin & Dan from Barnes Painting & Drywall for their incredible work. They took on the challenge of buffing, sanding, and wire brushing the old rusty post.
What was the result of their hard work?
The transformation is nothing short of awesome! The old post has been revived and is now a sight to behold. The rust is gone, replaced by a vibrant and beautiful appearance. It's like stepping back in time while enjoying the benefits of the present.
What about the surroundings?
Not only did the logo/sign get a makeover, but the surrounding area also received some love. Take a look at those dying weeds! Thanks to the TK Lawn's efforts, the exterior is looking is going to look great again soon.
What's next for SPJ?
The small exterior transformations are just the beginning. There are exciting plans for the rest of the exterior this fall. But for now, the focus is on the interior. SPJ's NEW HOME is getting a complete makeover, inside and out, to ensure it remains a symbol of pride and history.
